i was in jess' class just now. crashed her finance class. boy is it boring. haha. if not for the laptop i would have been dozing off. was afraid that the lecturer would discover that i'm not in his class. not even a student of this school. hahaha. but its quite interesting to crash her class. the thrill of it. :D
isn't her school lovely! i love love the purple trees. :D
i wish i can bring the seeds of the purple tree back to singapore to plant! why doesnt singapore have purple trees! argh! i doubt the trees can survive in singapore.. =/ sucky climate.
haven't been blogging. cuz i've been busy editing photos. hahaha. we took TONS of photos. if i dont resize them, they would take up so so much space la. a few GBs! haha. those from my cam plus those from jess' cam. haha. anyway, life has been good and i'm happy :D i cant believe that time flies by so quickly. i'll be leaving next sunday night! omg. there are so many things i would miss. like the ice blended green tea boba from urth cafe, the super yummy crepe, the churos from disneyland, the cute waiter at gyu-kaku.. etc. HAHA. of course the person i'll miss the most is jesslyn novianty. :)
by the way, gyu-kaku is jap bbq. super yummy! the beef and the cow tongue... yums. hahaha. jess says there's gyu-kaku in singapore! i was shocked. hahha. CHIJMES! i am so gona go there. :D hope the standard is just as good! over the period of stay here, i've grown to love cow tongue! its yummy! yea the thought of it is gross, but hey its yummy! hahaha.
my shoulders are still peeling from the sunburn and that sucks. oh ya, my scalp is also peeling. gross. looks like dandruff. super huge pieces. i hate sunburns. the sun can be so hot here, but the wind is still so cold! hahaha. in the afternoon it can be 27deg, at night it can drop to 19deg. still, i rather be cold than hot. i wish the wind here can be imported to singapore. then singapore wouldnt be so hot!
jesslyn has been a wonderful tour guide. :D we went to so many places, and she brought me to so many places with yummy food and boba! the more major places we went to would be the beaches (venice beach and santa monica beach), Disneyland, and Las Vegas! the photos above were taken at the beaches.
the sun was so hot in the afternoon! haha. but still Disneyland was awesome! we took truckloads of pictures there. :D got some souvenirs for friends there. oh ya, i ate this caramel apple, and got soooo sick of caramel cuz jess didnt want to help me eat it and i had to finish it myself. FYI, disneyland has the best CHUROS! like omg, the outside is so crunchy, the inside is all warm and soft and chewy.. the sugar coating compliments it marvellously.. ahh!! i'll miss the churos there.. =( haha. anyway we walked for like 10hrs that day i guess? both our feet were hurting badly when we finally went home around 9-10pm.
vegas really was an awesome experience! i love the interior design and architecture of buildings there. :D too bad we're under 21. :( it TOTALLY SUCKS to be under 21 in vegas! no gambling, no clubbing, no alcohol, not even liqueur chocolates. =_= the worst part was that, we couldnt even check into the hotel jess already booked and paid for! wthh! we were supposed to be staying at the Palazzo. instead they didnt let us check in, and helped us to find a hotel which would allow under 21yr olds to check in- Westin. oh wells. and we met a scary person the first night there. overall i still love vegas! :)
now i'm at her library blogging cuz i can't crash her second class. some writing class thing. haha. oh wells its only 2.5hrs. :D so i'm waiting for her here.
this is me today. do i look fatter? =/ its DIETING when i get back!
